Seeping into my head

I've been writing down my dreams lately. This morning I woke up and reached for the dream--and realized that I'd been doing a Calculus problem in my sleep. My head was full of numbers. I was differentiating a transcendental function...which sounds sort of cosmic until you know that trig functions are called transcendental functions.

I have been tutoring a lot lately.

Love!

I woke up one day, many years ago, and as I awoke I realized not only that I had been dreaming vividly about dual spaces (that is, vector spaces of linear functionals), but that I now *understood* dual spaces when I had not the previous day.

I had been doing a *lot* of linear algebra that week.

Brains are weird.
