Dear theatre artist of any stripe:

This is an invitation to throw your hat into the ring for Nebunele Theatre's latest project, one of the world's tiniest collaborative theatre festivals, a one-night-only affair known as

THEATREPOEMS the FIRST.

Eleven directors have come together and made eleven different plans for making eleven different plays. Each play currently exists as a seed, or an organizing idea, and nothing else.

In this phase, we are selecting performers, designers, musicians, dancers, puppeteers, painters, and other kinds of collaborators to be part of the team for each separate play.

Once the teams have been assembled, each team will have ONE DAY between Feb 12 and March 27 in which to make a tiny piece of theatre, coalesced around the organizing idea and led by the director. Once the piece is made, there will be a tech rehearsal and ONE NIGHT ONLY of performance.

WE NEED YOU! We need you to come for one day, abandon your sense and hesitation, and dive gleefully in to the muck of quick & dirty creative collaboration.
